    I believe the answer is: Akhenaton

    The city was named after its pharaoh, who were widely known as the first pharaoh who abandoned traditional Egyptian polytheism and introducing a religion centered on the Aten. Since his view was considred taboo at that time, all of The city was dismantled by other paharaohs not long after his death.
