The 19th Amendment was passed by the Congress of the United States in June 4th, 1919.

The Amendment grants the right to access to vote to all American women. It states that women and men have the equal right to vote in any held election for office in territory of the United States.

It states that it is against the law to any State to deny the right to vote to an individual based on gender.
