    Motivation

    Explanation:

One of the four factors of learning proposed by Bandura is motivation. As demonstrated by Darla, unless a person is motivated, an individual would not learn from observed behaviour. An individual in this category would need a further level of motivation such as a reward to learn from their observation.

Darla is not motivated nor does she have the desire to begin the program.

    Explanation:

Bandura's model of observational learning explains that learning occurs through observing other peoples behavior. This involves observing both their negative and positive behaviors.

And there are principles or processes that were formulated by Bandura towards observational learning, these include attention, retention, production and motivation.

In this case, though has noticed that her friends have lost weight by exercising, yet she has no plan to imitate or copy their behavior, this is simply because she is not motivated and probably not ready to start the program.
