The government of the United States of America is conformed by three different branches. Each branch has its own tasks.

The Legislative branch is conformed by the Congress. The Congress is in charge of debating and of passing the laws that are going to rule over the country. The Congress is divided in two parts, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The Judicial branch is conformed by the Supreme Court of the Nation and the judges that forms it. The Supreme Court is in charge of examining cases and laws that are related to the Constitution. The Supreme Court is the highest level of court in the country.

The third branch is the Executive, which is conformed by the President of the United States. The main task of the Executive branch is to manage the government and to enforce the laws that the Congress passes.
