The 14th amendment guarantees:

A. That states will not deny anyone equal protection of the laws

B. That everyone except criminals will be counted figuring a states number of representative in Congress

C. The right to vote to all former slaves

D. The same rights as those named in the fifth amendment

    I believe it is a because the Fourth Amendment had said the right of people to be secure in their persons houses papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures should not be violated and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause supported by oath or affirmation ...
