Remember, you have two options for dealing with the accidents at Walnut and Birch Streets: replacing the stop signs with signals, or replacing them with roundabouts. Which option makes the most sense for your city? Why? Provide details including positives and negatives associated with your choice.

    Positive for Stop Signals: Pedestrians are able to move to street to street without the risk of being hit

    However the negative side of this is that drivers are more than likely to get caught in traffic considering that if it is place in a big city pedestrians are gonna be coming in more than letting drivers pass through.

    Roundabouts would be a good choice the reason is that Drivers don't need to drive somewhere with taking risk to crash so long as they stay on the right side ...

    Replacing the stop signs at Walnut and Birch Streets with roundabouts is the best choice. Roundabouts cost less than traffic signals and cost less money to keep up. Intersections with roundabouts have fewer accidents than those with signals or stop signs.
