    In the time of the conquest, the main object of trade were precious stone like the Gold, that is because in those times the mercantilism was the principal economic policy, that policy said that the more gold and silver a country accumulated, the more prosperous and rich it becomes, this with the idea to increase the welfare of the nation.

    Also, in those times the glory and the king's favor was the most important motivation for people to look for conquering other lands to the crown, the recognition, social status and the idea to make history and to be remembered by future generations was the gold dream of those people.

    Finally, God. the catolic church had a huge influence in the european countries, they though that the God's will was the expansion of the religion for all over the world, and also kill people with a different thinking, that was the inquisition. in conclusion, european conquerors were very rooted with the catolic beliefs, they though that through the achievement of that mission they would reach the salvation
