What was an effect that World War II had on American women?

    1) women began to do the jobs that the men used to do. they worked in factories and on fighter plants.

    2) Also set new standard of female participation in wars, pilots, nurses.

    3) Women married earlier and had more children and relied much less on their husbands after the war

    4) Women went into the workplace and never looked back.

    5) Many other nursing sisters were lost in ship sinking's on the passage to Europe, when they ship were sunk by U-boats
