There were several reasons behind the opposition to the government of Louis Philippe in France. Firstly his government brought huge hardship for the middle class people and the peasants living under his rule. the general people also wanted the right to vote. Louis Philippe was the king of France from the year 1830 to the year 1848. He was first thought to be the king of the general people. This idea slowly started changing due to the hardships felt by the middle class and the peasants. Under his rule the income gap became so high that it was unbearable for the common people. This made him very unpopular.
