    It was important because they didn't have any thing and they used all the items like bones of animals and plants and to make clothes they ate very part they could and used all of earth to survive.

    Nature was an important part to many American Indian customs and traditions because that's how they lived their lives off of the land and that's how they made/got their food. Once all the resources in that area had been used they moved to a different area.
