What groups are overrepresented or underrepresented online as a result of the digital divide? Those who are overrerpresented online because of the digital divide are young people because they are growing up with technology, high-income families because they can afford the devices and the capabilty to learn about them, Asians due to their advanced tech society and college graduates who are working for companies with booming digital work. Those who are underrepresented are seniors who haven't been around the new technology advancements much, low-income families who are unable to afford devices, people who live in rural areas because they likely do not have services that reach them, and other ethnic groups who typically are included within low-income.
