Which created the most trouble for china, internal problems or external problems, why?

    Opium trade created the most problems for China. Because of opium addiction, the Chinese were forced to trade with Britain for this good. Opium trade was originally dominated by the Dutch, so many people were addicted, it sold on the street like candy. Eventually, even kids got addicted to it.
