Why has there not been a successful new american auto manufacturing firm formed in over 80 years

    The answer would be : the economies of scale in the auto industry make it almost impossible for a new firm to gather enough financial capital to be successful.

    This happen due to a really high cost per product to create an automobile product. Not only that, there are some heavy competitions that came from the manufacturers in East Asia Region, especially Japan
