How did new England textile industry affect both children and women?

    The New England’s textile industry did have a great effect on the life of the women living at that time. The women got involved in the workforce in such industries. They worked as combers, carders and spinners in the textile industry. This factor also effected their family financial status. Also the number of children in a family started reducing. The women became self-sufficient. Unmarried women were given a lot of preference by many textile industries in that era. Women adapted to the job very quickly.
