How were dependent states different from allied states and what is an example of each?

    Dependent states are different from allied states. Dependent states are states which are not fully sovereign and are still under the main state while Allied states are those which are fully sovereign and not under, politically, the main state. The main state and the allied states have aligned their goals to benefit each other.
