In considering whether research is ethical, which of the following are balanced against each other?

In determining if the research is ethical or not, the morality of the procedure, the methodology, goal, subject, and specimen should be considered. For example, it has long been a debate topic if we allow research with human beings as the experiment subject. I think, it all depends on the morality of the research as a whole.
