Norway and Sweden (and also Finnland) are known for very harsh winters, full of snow, cold and short days.

This is so, because they are located in the north, relatively close to the Arctic Circle, and partially inside the Arctic Circle.

The correct answer is A. cold and snowy.

The winters are definitely not mild! the summer is mild there though.
