During the ancient Egyptians time is wasn’t that religion was so important as it was that they follow tradition. Their religious impacts were based on their believes to oppose change. This way of thinking had work for the former people so change wasn’t an option. Throughout history the Ancient Egyptians have been resilient in the replication of many gods or polytheistic, which has been a multitude of seven hundred gods and goddesses. They were often than not fashioned for divinities to merged additional religions.

During a short period in history the Ancient Egyptians transfer their platform of religion from Polytheistic to Monolatrism meaning single. The Aten craze during the 18th dynasty, King Akhenaten is paramount because he introduced the monotheistic solar cult and his faithfulness to one deity. Secondly, the rise of Marduk in the third millennium was deliberate the most intricate gods in ancient Mesoptamia. He served as the model for the tower of babel which in Akkadian means ‘Lord". Marduk is best illustrative as the benefactor god of the city of Babylon the claim of universal supremacy. Thirdly, was the rise of Yahweh (Jahweh) the god of the Israelites who was the exclusive god of the latter Judaism.

The main focus was the hereafter. The physical body had to be unspoiled to permit a dwelling for their spirit to reside in the hereafter. So, as far as religion can be traced from ancient origins in the Middle East leading to the present-day.
