How were the practices of the east India company in India reflected in British colonial practices in South Asia

    Well, back than the british Colonial in South Asia was some sort of imperial representative from central British. They're responsible to do some of the works for the central government from South Asian Region.

    Currently, a lot of East India companies got their project from outsourced jobs from US and Europe, it's basically the same thing.
