How did the scientific revolution lead to the enlightenment?

    The Scientific Revolution shed more light on topics of science instead of religion. People started attempting to explain occurrences and instances (such as earthquakes or diseases) as something other than being caused by God. People started coming up with more 'logical' explanations for these things, leading to the enlightenment.
