How did the two men view the british government differently

    Ben Franklin respected the British govt deeply. But disagreed with their views that America should be purely subjugated to British rule. As for William, he was rewarded with his steadfast loyalty to the Crown. Since he was in position of power, there was no logical reason to oppose the British govt.
