    The way humans impacting the global water cycle when they pave, convert forest to agriculture and irrigate that agriculture is: The water table is dropping on every continent.

    When people decided to get rid of a forest in order to build a resort or apartment, for example, we will be very likely to destroy a lot of water sources that would increase the chance of us experiencing a shortage in water supply.
