Governments only stay in power by having powerful armies. governments rule with consent from their people. leaders should be cruel and harsh to their citizens. leaders receive power and authority from the gods.

    This is a bunch of contradicting statements here. It is not entirely true that government only stay in power by having powerful armies, there are countries in the world which don't stay in power despite having a powerful army and there are countries which don't have it but stay in power.

    Governments indeed should rule with consent from their people as they represent the elected group of people.

    none of the other sentences make much sense in today's democratic societies.
