Is cultural imperialism form of colonization?

Such things depend on definitions.

If we define colonialism as Exploitation of one territory by another, then it is, for example by forcing the dependent territory to consume the cultural goods of another (Hollywood for example). It is however not the most typical form of colonialism there is.
