Justinian Code has unquestionably formed the basis for many codes of law in countries around the world today. Do you think the laws of today in the United States are more strict than those laws of Roman time?

    No because back then they would care a lot about their laws and who followed them also look at the middle ages with the heresy and the killing innocent people even when they weren't against the church compared to today they were more strict
