Who is Barbara Jordan?

Barbara Jordan was an US-American politician known as the first Black Woman from the South to hold a number of positions: A seat in the Texas Senate, a seat in the US House of Representatives and the first African-American woman to deliver the keynote Address at the Democratic National Convention.
