What is the difference between substantive due process and procedural due process?

    When a law is enforce against a person be it civil or criminal, there is a taking of life liberty and or property. substantive due process looks at the substance of the law itself. There is an analytical distinction between the procedure by which a law is enforced against the substance of the law
