Here are the ways how communism have a global impact beyond those countries that were governed by communist parties:

- It created a state of fear in Western nations of encroaching dictatorship and loss of their human rights if communism should take hold and take over the world.

-It started the United States to develop its military and beef it up in case it would have to fight the war and it deposited these missiles all over the world and in Europe all aiming at the Soviet Union.

-It created protest of the missiles in those countries worrying about trigger happy people

the very existence of communist countries exist to overthrow capitalism and often times, they're willing to do it by any means necessary even if it would resort to violence.
