The most appropriate answer is c. dry climates. In dry climates such as deserts the main type of physical weathering is exfoliation. In the daytime, rocks expand because of the high temperatures. regions with dry climates cool rapidly at nights. When this occurs the rocks contract. the continuous process over time cause rock to break of in layers or exfoliate.
