Who was the first colonists of Georgia

    The founder of Georgia was James Oglethorpe, who called the colony after the king who gave him the permission to do so. Together with 19 (e. g. John Burton, etc ...) other people, he formed an association of Trustees and they were the first to depart for Georgia and start a colony there.
