How does the constitution limit the power of legislative bodies?

    The legislative bodies are limited by the checks and balanced established by the Constitution. For example, the House of Representatives are elected by the people every 2 years. The president can veto laws proposed by the legislature. The Bill of Rights also limits what rights the legislature can't deny (freedom of speech, religion, ...)
