Adolescence is that stage in life where one is no longer a child but not yet an adult. It can also be called the "teen years". During period, they are starting to explore the world. Though they are not fully developed as adults, one sign that they are growing up is their desire to be independent. This is a crucial stage in their development because it is here when they want to make their own decisions. It can be seen in what they want to wear or what they want to do in life. We should encourage them to follow their choices but also remind them to be careful and choose wisely. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be more independent. Just remember to be responsible.
