What significance did roman roads have on ancient culture and religion?

    Well, without roads, they couldn't have heard about Jesus and things; and without roads they couldn't have traveled and sold things and made market places. Because people would travel from all over the world to Rome just because they thought they would loose a few years from pergatory.
