Why were the colonists upset with the new taxes that Great Britain passed prior to the American Revolution? A) They felt that the British were trying to take over their businesses. B) They felt that they were entitled to representation to vote on taxes. C) They felt the taxes were so high that many could not afford to pay them. D) They felt that they should not have to pay any taxes since they did not live in Great Britain.

    B because they used taxtation without representation and were made they werent asked for permission
