    If the placenta separates to the uterus it will likely cause harm to the fetus. It is because the main role of the placenta is to be able to provide nutrients and oxygen for the fetus. It's main role is also to remove unnecessary waste on the blood of the fetus, in order to keep the fetus healthy.
