What similarity can be drawn between state and national governments

    In general terms, State governments are modeled, originally, after the National, or Federal, government. The differences lie in how they change based upon their location and the specific groups that control them AND that they control.

    So, in short, State governments are smaller, more independent, versions of the National governments.
