How would you separate steel pins and plastic beads?

To separate two objects in a mixture, we take advantage of the difference in their properties. For this case, we use their magnetic properties. We can use a magnet to separate the steel pins and the beads since steel pins are attracted to a magnet while the plastic beads are not.
