Between the years of 1792 and 1801, cotton production went from 6,000 bales annually to 100,000 bales annually. This was due to the invention of the cotton gin. In what way did the cotton gin contribute to the dramatic rise in production?

    It contributed to the dramatic rise of production, because it allowed cotton to be produced faster. It seperated the cotton from the seeds much much faster than by hand which is originally how they did it.
