Did the fifteenth amendment succed in extending voting rights?

    Not at first because of Jim Crow laws, literacy tests and such, but I'd say yes.

    Yes, it gave the right to vote to black men, but unfortunately many were still unable to due to discriminatory practices that went against the amendment.
