What were the benefits of living along the Nile river?

    Easy living

    Though the Nile is not used as much as it was in ancient times the Aswan Dam provides irrigation and hydro electricity

    Transportation

    Farming and the reeds that grew near the river banks, called papyrus, were used as paper for writing on, also for making rope, sandals, and boats. in the Ancient Egypt.

    Some of the benefits of river Nile is that it has very fertile flood plains resulting from seasonal floods along the banks. But although Nile river has countless benefits or advantages. Such as:

    Used for washing cloths

    transportation

    Irrigation

    farming

    And reeds that grew along the banks called papyrus. They are used for writing thing in the ancient times.
