The main problem colonial forces faced during the war for independence was that they

1 were too far from home

2 had ships that were too big to quickly navigate the ocean

3 lacked money and were poorly organized to fight a war

4 could not see the British troops because they wore disguise

    Assuming this is the American revolution the colonial forces fought it on home soil so there was no need to be far from home or need to navigate the ocean. The British wore bright red uniforms while the colonial forces can be considered a ragtag bunch because of lack of training, limited supply of weapons and lack of uniforms
