Answer: C. It is important to be able to communicate in more than one language

Spanish students from Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries have learned to speak a second language in school because it is very important that one can express himself in more than one language in order to be understood.

I believe the answer is: C. It is important to be able to communicate in more than one language

This even become much more important due to the globalization era that happened after the development of technologies.

People who refuse to learn more than one language would be denied various kind of career/business opportunities that would prevent them from obtaining what they want to achieve in their life.
