    It was a sacred and a nationalist rebellion against the Turks. They believed that the Ottoman Empire has violated Islam religion and their want to change their constitution. These reasons made them waged a war against Ottoman rule. They also gained the support of the United Kingdom.

    2 The treaty of Brest-Litovsk benefited Germany because in this treaty Russia had surrendered the Baltic States to this country.
