    Expressionists try to convey their work by creating physical embodiments to display certain emotions.

    While looking at "The Scream" you can imagine how Munch depicted a battle of inner turmoil and an outlash against the frustrating struggles of life by looking at the characteristics of the painting and which colours he chose.
