Sulfur dioxide (SO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gases are released on a large scale by certain forms of industry, and can react with oxygen to form sulfur trioxide gas (SO3) or with water to form sulfuric acid (H2SO4). Explain why this could be detrimental.

    sulfuric acid - acid rain. Damages forests, limestone statues/buildings, lakes (alters pH) etc. Sulphur trioxide is a pollutant, which is also detrimental to health. Mark me the brainiest!
