Compare the number of pollen grains in each flower with the number of ovules. why do you think there is a difference?

    The role of the pollen is for the sperm to reach the egg. In the process of transportation, a lot of pollen grains can get lost and therefore there is greater need for it to be more than the ovules, since the eggs do not have to be transported anywhere.
