    I think the different species of animals in an ecosystem would most likely be similar in the abiotic requirements.

    Abiotic factors or requirements are non living parts of an environments that can often have a major influence on the living organisms. These include, water, sunlight, oxygen, soil, temperature. These abiotic requirements may be a similar requirement by all organisms in an ecosystem, for example water which is a very important abiotic factor is needed by all living organisms.
