Type 1 diabetes also known as insulin-dependent diabetes is a condition where the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin which is needed to allow glucose to enter into the cells of the body. It is usually of a genetic cause and so far has no cure yet treatment would focus on giving insulin to manage blood sugar and proper lifestyle and diet to further prevent more complications thus it is also important to monitor the sugar level of a client as to know if how much insulin is needed in the body.
