We will consider two genes found in tomato plants. one gene (r) affects fruit color, and the other (wf) affects flower color. red fruit and yellow flowers are the dominant characteristics, while yellow fruit and white flowers are recessive. the r gene is found on chromosome 2. we are trying to determine whether the gene for flower color is located on the same chromosome.
