The only negative option given is: increased pollution. Humans unfortunately cause pollution through producing garbage, driving cars, producing human waste (sewage) and growing crops and raising livestock. The more people there are, the more pollution results. It is worth noting that people in developed nations generally cause more pollution because they consume more per capita that people in developing nations.
